Alison Clerici BSc (Hons), MSc, PDTD RTS


Alison is originally from Worcester and trained at the Royal Ballet School, and at Elmhurst School for Dance. She has performed with the Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet companies, and holds the professional dancers’ teaching diploma of the Royal Academy of Dance. She has extensive knowledge of classical ballet, having trained with Marion Tait, Patricia Linton and Lynn Wallis. Ms Clerici also has a strong interest in psychology, and holds both a Masters degree (MSc, Coventry University) and a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society and awarded by the University of Sheffield. Whilst at Sheffield, Alison was a member of the university’s dance society executive committee, where she taught advanced classical ballet, repertoire and pointe work classes, along with choreographing pieces for inter-university competitions and showcases.


   More recently, she has worked with RAD examiner, Miss Kirsty Purvis, Vital Statistics Theatre Company, Evesham, and is an assistant teacher for Midlands Theatre Ballet.


   Alison is committed to dance as an art form, and to the development of every individual.
